I happen to be a big fan of Wizards, Barbarians, and Magi. What's your favorite class to play?

I am very fond of the Magus, and the black blade magus especially.

I've only ever played one Magus, but I had a lot of fun playing her. It definitely satisfies that part of the brain that is thinking, "wait, why the heck can't I be a Ultimate AND cast spells?"

That's what I like about them. I can cast spells and attack with swords. And I can put a spell on my sword, attack and cast a spell, it is brilliant!

It's a toss up for me between wizards and rogues (although I'd never combine them). I like playing rogues because it stays interesting. You have limited combat abilities but a lot of useful talents, so if you think outside the box, you can use them to change any situation. It's a far more interesting class than your one track mind fighter, albeit much more difficult, and you can get owned pretty easily.
And of course I have a soft spot for wizards, although I actually rarely play them. I think I'm still waiting for that one game where I can play the ultimate wizard and fill the role perfectly. I haven't had a chance for that yet.
Honorable mention goes to druid, who has the most interesting impractical spell list in the game.

Yeah, Druid is always such a weird class. Part of me wishes that they were more like their namesake, but game-wise that would make them more Cleric than a distinct class. I always thought it would be neat to have an in-game society where the tribes of barbarians and rangers were ruled by druids.

Monks, no question. While its true that they can't hit as hard or as consistently as other pure martial classes, and many of their powers are situational or downright detrimental in some regards, they are tops in sheer awesome. They dance onto the battlefield and contend with the same threats that a barbarian or fighter must, with only their fists and faith in their abilities to protect them. No weapons, no armor, no room for mistakes; for Monks, its all or nothing. To stay alive, every move, every strike, every counter must be precisely executed, and its that level of perfection and mastery that Monks demand that I find alluring.

I've always liked the "Yeah, but you should see the other guy," way Monks act in combat.

I tend to gravitate toward fighters and rogues. Recently I've found I really enjoy playing sorcerer.

You know, a fighty sorcerer can be done if you build it right....
