The Player Directory is a listing of players seeking campaigns, looking to keep track of old campaigns and characters, etc. This will allow other players and DMs to see what you like to play, how often you're available to post, and other pertinent information. It is, in effect, a resume for your role-playing "career." Below is a simple form to fill out and post as a reply to this thread. NOTE: You will most likely need to re-bold the "questions."
Name: Your Name Contact Info: How do we get a hold of you? Email? IM? PM? Posting Frequency: How often can you post? Daily? Weekly? Hourly? Type of Campaign: What genres? What systems? Etc. Types of Characters: Who do you like to play? Rangers? Bards? Old Characters: Who have you played before? Old Campaigns: Where did you play them? Miscellany: Anything else we should know?
(this was paraphrased, i.e. stolen from another forum where it works to great effect.) Here is a version you can copy and paste below.

Name: Adam Contact Info: PM here on the forum, or Facebook. Posting Frequency: Daily. Maybe bidaily. Type of Campaign: Anything. Types of Characters: Whatever strikes my fancy. I have a knack for scheming controller types though. Old Characters: So many... Rannoc Battleborn (CG Barbarian) and Vereth d'Lurien (NE Bard) seem to be fan (un)favorites. Old Campaigns: With the Saturday Knights! Rannoc is for Rise of the Runelords(and a homebrew by thomas), and Vereth was played in homebrews by Tadpole is Love and HoratiusMiscellany: Maybe? Lemme think.

Name: Horatio Contact Info: PM for now. Posting Frequency: Varies. I can post anywhere between 0 to 20 times a day, depending on my work. Type of Campaign: I like D&D 3.5, Pathfinder, and most White Wolf games. I enjoy a lot of game types, be they silly, scary, epic, low level, political, hack n' slash, or other. Types of Characters: I tend to play magic users or sneaks, and sometimes both, if possible (Beguiler is a favorite 3.5 class for me) Old Characters: Horatio's Character PageOld Campaigns: Each character lists the campaign on it's respective page through the link above. All those games were with The Saturday Knights Miscellany: When it comes to character building, I prefer the multitude of options available in 3.5, although it's worthwhile to mention that Pathfinder is growing in options, and the more it does so, the more interested in it I become. I also use Excel spreadsheets to keep track of my characters both out and in game, notably Heroforge for 3.5 and the Pathfinder Character Excelerator (albeit a highly updated one that I'm still working on).

Name: Karla Contact Info: PM is good as well as facebook at www.facebook.com/karla.farley.1Posting Frequency: Due to work and school, I can probably post from 1-8 times daily, sometimes more. Type of Campaign: I currently only have experience with Pathfinder, but I am willing to try anything. Types of Characters: I enjoy front line characters who go in guns blazing. Eventually I want to try a full caster or a sneaky character. Old Characters: I have had Eridal the Magus for the most part and I briefly played a druid and a fighter. Old Campaigns: Eridal was played with a group of friends on Saturdays. The other two were with the same group in the summer when our normal DM was gone. Miscellany: Not that I can think of.

Name: thomas Contact Info: PM will be the easiest for right now. Posting Frequency: Probably 1-5 times a day. Type of Campaign: I'm pretty well versed in D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder, and I've created my own system called TSK d100. I like a wide variety of campaigns, but typically enjoy gritty games or those with darker plots. Types of Characters: I enjoy monks and clerics the most, but I always try and play something new. Old Characters: My favorite characters would have to be Slumbering Bear Greets the Dawn a cleric, and Jormund Hammerhand, a cleric. Old Campaigns: SBGtD dared to delve the World's Largest Dungeon and took the skins of his defeated enemies as trophies. Jormund Hammerhand was my first character in Mageslayer, a version of the Witchfire Trilogy set in the Airth Campaign setting. Miscellany: I really enjoy crafting complex characters, with, ya know, motives and such.

Name: Jacob Contact Info: PM if i don't know you, otherwise Facebook or Email Posting Frequency:Daily Type of Campaign: I've only ever done Pathfinder and a bit of 3.5 but I'm down for anything I've yet to try as well. Types of Characters:I'm still new enough to Rpg's that I haven't really settled on a class I really like, I usually try playing something new. Old Characters: the two longest games I've been in I played a Halfling Druid named Tyragol and a Half Elf Ranger called Kasrel. Both were relatively surly, anti-social masters of the outdoors... this probably says something about me. Old Campaigns: Kingmaker, Some Eberron stuff, Started Skulls and shackles, and a few other things all with one of the groups Adam ran Miscellany: I feel like I'm getting the hang of these games, but I still tend to ask a lot of questions. Also I'll probably draw your character if you ask me to, it's just a bit of a gamble whether it'll come out any good.

Name: Scott Contact Info: sdshapton@gmail.com should work Posting Frequency: Daily Type of Campaign: Most genres, any d20 based systems. I'm best with D&D 3.5, but I can adapt. Types of Characters: For the most part, any INT-based character. With 3.5 at least, there is a shocking amount that can be done with an INT-based character. But I'm flexible. Old Characters: The multiple personality LN Monk/CG Cleric. Arthur Savron, LN gnome illusionist. Colonel Sir Henry ir'Narthen, LN marshal. Yurrid the Dwarven Wizard, LN. There is a strange pattern here. Old Campaigns: I was the DM for an in person game of Madison students, and I've played a bit over the giantitp.com forums Miscellany: I will be attending Oregon State University in Corvallis. So I'm not really going to be in Portland except during the summer.

Name: Patrick Contact Info: email is great (patrick@chizeck.com), or I guess just PMs, although I never seem to get the notifications. I do not have the Facebook. Posting Frequency: Depending on the day (naturally) 1-5 times. Type of Campaign: I've only played Pathfinder, unless you want me to try and remember AD&D 2nd edition, which was new the last time I played it. Still a mewling infant in Pathfinder. Types of Characters: I'm more of a role-player than a battling type. I have to Google or ask how to make an attack role, but I'm never at a loss at how to destroy a circus effectively or inventive uses for a boulder trap. Old Characters: Currently playing Forp, a Ghoran barbarian (an 8' plant man) who has a very tenuous grasp of how both vertebrates and Common works. Also James Cassidy, the most handsome and charming mediocre half-elf sorcerer/Godling in the land, who decided he liked drinking and women more than adventuring, and has settled down and opened a pub. Old Campaigns: Currently playing Pathfinder with Horatius's group. Open to learning new stuff. Miscellany: I bring snacks. Just sayin'.
